The former Glee star, Charice Pempengco broke silence about the rumors of attempting suicide due to the alleged bankruptcy.
In her statement to ABS-CBN News, the 21-year-old denied the accusation from her grandmother Glenn Aldueza saying “Charice slits her wrist because of the financial dilemma.”
During the last few days, Charice choses to be silence with regards to the issue of her attempted suicide in connection to the allegation that he has no more money. But at this time she will speak about the matter.
In a report, Charice cleared the issue that the allegation of attempting suicide is not true.
“Mahal ko po ang buhay ko, lalo pa nga’t malaya ko nang naipapahayag ang totoong ako. At mayroon pa rin po akong naitatagong pera,” she explained.
Charice was referring to her decision of publicizing her gender preference sometime in the month of June in which she admitted that since the time she has had freed from being pretended and now she feels happy. She also discloses about her relationship with Alyssa Quijano, a former rival in singing competition with whom she live with her in a home.
With regards to the alleged financial dilemma, she said that there is nothing to talk about that, because it’s obvious that she is still working up to this time to sustain her needs in life and besides, she has had money saved for her.
To the issue about her family, Charice admitted that there is conflict between them but she believed that there is always a room for reconciliation.
The singer has been estranged from her family since she publicly confirmed that she is a lesbian.
“Magihintay po ako ng kapatawaran ng Mommy kahit kailan,” assured the singer in her statement on Tuesday.
