Ceres Bus Iloilo to Boracay

In western Visayas, Iloilo City is the capital City of Panay Island. It is the most highly urbanized city of the province and the regional center of Western Visayas.

Travelers who want to explore the entire province; you are advice to start here, because Iloilo City serves as a center of transportation to any point of the Panay Island.

The most common tourist’s destination outside Iloilo City is Caticlan as it is the starting point to Boracay Island. In order to get you there, below are the travel information to guide you in your journey heading to Boracay from the city of Iloilo.

TAGBAK TERMINAL  —> CATICLAN   —>  BORACAY ISLAND

Tagbak Terminal is the most common transit point in the city. For Boracay-bound tourists, just take Leganes-bound jeepney, if you are in Jaro Plaza or at SM City Iloilo to get you there in the Tagbak Terminal for only P8.00.  It is located in Jaro Iloilo along McArthur Highway.

Jetty Port in Caticlan is the launching pad to Boracay. All buses will stop here. To get to your final destination in Boracay you have to pass through Jetty Port and take a boat to Boracay.

Boracay getting around

The island’s chief medium of transport is tricycle which has 5-passengers total capacity excluding the driver at the fare cost around Php20.00-Php50.00 depending upon the distance and place of destination. Next to tricycle they have also Multi-Cab Vans which is quite expensive compare the tricycle.

    Sched of FIRST trip and LAST trip of Ceres Bus and Ferry would be bloody helpful! City Tourism of Iloilo contact # cannot be reached :'(
