FAMAS award-winning Best Actress Angel Locsin as (Monica) plays the role as disparaged wife while her rival Maja Salvador as (Nicole) portrays devoted mistress in its newest promising passionate and dramatic primetime series “The Legal Wife” to be aired January 2014.
‘The Legal Wife’ is directed by Rory Quintos and Dado Lumibao, also staring Jericho Rosales as (Adrian) and JC de Vera as (Max) whose role figures on social media of romance with the lead actresses.
In a video teaser of the drama series which is available to watch below, show Monica and Adrian getting engaged that later she learned that Adrian is having an affair with another woman. Adrian’ relationship with Nicole triggers the bad temper of Monica that she almost hit with her speeding car both her husband and mistress. The betrayed wife Monica amidst ordeal found comfort in her friend Max.
The full drama trailer will be aired soon on January 1, 2014 after the ABS-CBN’s Honesto, where the confrontation between two rivals ended with Monica slapping Nicole. Then, after that a scene appeared that Max is comforting Monica. The last part of the teaser video shows a hysterical Monica hitting Adrian her husband.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Maja Salvador told the reason why she is excited for the project.
“Para sa akin kasi big step ito bilang artista. Malaking step sa akin na gawin ang character na ito, dahil natsa-challege po ako eh, ditto sa role ko,” said the mistress actress, Maja Salvador.
The rivalry of Locsin and Salvador onscreen is the first time in the showbiz where both of the actresses described the same words that both of them wanted to work together as an opportunity to each one of them in the show.
“Ako pag-transfer ko palang naman, isa na si Maja sa mga gusto kong makatrabaho, Angel Locsin said. She added saying, “Ito, dalaga na si Maja, so nagkaroon kami ng chance. At ako, looking forward talaga,” said the betrayed wife, Angel Locsin.
The video teaser harvested various comments from netizen, most of the fans said they are excited to watch Angel back in teleseries.
