Imee Marcos Explains Why Her Father Had to Restrict “Voltes V” in 1970s

The senator recently explained the reasons for her father, former President Ferdinand Marcos, to prohibit Philippine television in the 1970s from airing the Japanese anime series “Voltes V.” Remember that the first episode of the well-known Japanese animation series aired on Philippine television in May 1978.
