Another blow was dealt to Charice’s mother, Raquel Pempengco, who is now known as Jake Zyrus.

Raquel’s elder brother, Rey Relucio, died on July 14, 2022. Rey died as a result of liver cancer.

Raquel said, “Alam mo ba nag-message ako noon kay Charice sa Instagram? Hindi niya ako pinansin.

“Si Nanay, malimit magparamdam. Si Kuya Obet, kapag kumakanta ako, naaalaala ko siya.

“Gusto ko, masagi man lang nang kahit konti ang puso ni Charice, kaso wala talaga.”

Raquel is concerned because her deceased family makes her feel better than Jake.
