With over 12.7 million followers, vlogger Zeinab Harake is one of many content creators benefiting from YouTube’s monetization of popular videos.
Zeinab has been candid about her loss and breakup with rapper Skusta Clee in recent weeks. Many people were more interested in her life, including her net worth and her monthly YouTube earnings.
In a post dated June 16, 2022, TikTok content producer Don Soriano released a short film regarding Zeinab’s average monthly earnings on YouTube.
His fast Google search led him to a whatsthenetworth.com article stating that Zeinab had “an estimated monthly YouTube income ranging from PHP450,000 to PHP7.22 Million.”
Zeinab discovered the video on the same day it was posted and instantly refuted its allegations.
In the comments section, the 23-year-old content creator commented, “Ay sana totoo yan be pag pray ko tama ang nakalagay sa search haha”
True, but that was in June, before her separation and loss became public.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) did some math based on a prior conversation with a source who gave some mind-boggling data regarding making money from generating content.
According to the source, a YouTube account with over 100,000 followers and more than two videos per day can make up to 100,000 pesos per month from advertisements, depending on the number of views.
Of course, the number climbs as the channel’s subscriber base expands.
Another source claims that star vloggers with more than 10 million subscribers can earn between PHP5 million and PHP11 million depending on the number of brand invasions on their vlogs.
Remember Karen Davila’s gift of 100,000 pesos to Herlene Budol?
That was allegedly Karen’s “profits” from her 30-minute Herlene vlog.
Since its release on April 2, 2022, the vlog has had around 4 million views as of press time.
