Because of their on-and-off romance, McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson’s relationship was not without its bumps.

McCoy and Elisse just celebrated their anniversary as lovers on July 2, 2022.

McCoy sent an impassioned Instagram message to the companion.

He acknowledged that they struggled and that is why they got divorced.

Despite this, they persisted in wanting to mend their relationship, but it was not simple.

McCoy stated, “Nung sinubukan natin ulit noon alam natin na hindi magiging madali.

“Alam natin na marami tayong pagdadaanan ulit pero ito tayo ngayon magkasama pa rin.

“Tuloy tuloy pa rin ang pag diskubre natin sa isat isa at sa mundo. Kinakaya maabot ang pangarap ng magkasama.”

The Kapamilya actor continued by saying that he could not provide Ellise with a life fit for a princess, but he pledged to find a way to make her happy in his company.

He assured, “Hindi man malaprinsesang buhay ang naibibigay ko sayo, gagawa’t gagawa ako ng paraan sa abot ng aking makakaya maibigay ko ang kasiyahan mo dahil mahal kita.

“Happy Anniversary sa atin Elisse ko palagi kitang nasa dasal ko promise. I love you [happy emoji]”

Elisse also greeted the father of her daughter.

Although she acknowledged that their life together would not be simple, she expressed her gratitude nonetheless.

Elise said, “Always, all ways. Another year of togetherness, growth, and trials.. it’s never easy but I’m thankful for all of it.

“Happy Anniversary to us [heart emoji] Mahal kita @mccoydeleon”

Elisse noted that since they both had jobs on July 2, she and McCoy were able to schedule a celebration in Batangas.

From 2012 to 2014, McCoy and Elisse got to know one another while working on the hit ABS-CBN daytime drama Be Careful With My Heart.

But given that they were among the contestants in Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7 in 2016, they performed well inside Kuya’s House.

The two lost their bearings in 2018 and acknowledged their separation in 2019.

News of the two’s reunion circulated in 2020.
