Kapuso actress-singer Rita Daniela has confirmed that she will become a mother.

Ken Chan’s former love teammate revealed her pregnancy on the “Queendom” segment of GMA 7’s “All-Out Sundays” this afternoon.

Rita stated that she had no intention of concealing her illness from the public. She stated that she was only waiting for the proper moment to reveal her pregnancy.

“I am so, so happy and proud to say that I’m soon to be a mother. Happy Mother’s Day to me.

“Wala naman po akong planong ilihim ito. I just…naghanap lang po ako ng tamang oras para sabihin and to share the new blessing in my life,” ang umiiyak na pag-amin ni Rita sa “All-Out Sundays.”

“Thank you so much All-Out Sundays family and, of course, GMA Network for supporting me and for loving me.

“Akalain mo yung, di ba, nagsimula ako dito sa GMA? I was just 10 years old and now, soon I will have a ten years old also and dito na talaga ako.

“Yung journey sa buhay ko, talagang nagsimula sa GMA. Maraming-maraming salamat GMA Network,” Rita added.

 “Masaya, I am super happy and proud. At least I can wear na the dress that I want to wear at hindi ko na kailangan, you know. I’m so happy. Ang sarap sabihin.” she remarked of how she felt now that she is going to be a mother.

“My child, you came just in time. You are God’s greatest gift to me. You give me hope to make more dreams come true. I shall do anything and everything that’s best for you. Always.

“Nanay will always make sure that you have a heart for people and joy in the Lord. I can’t wait to meet you, anak. Ngayon pa lang, mahal na mahal na kita,” as Rita message her baby at her post.
