Heart Evangelista reacted to Twitter to respond to a netizen who had criticized her on Twitter. According to the alleged basher, Heart Escudero, the wife of Senator-elect Chiz Escudero, is a gold digger.

This statement seemed to imply that Heart only married Chiz for his money. Heart firmly denied the charge, informing the basher that she didn’t need anybody to survive. Furthermore, Heart stated that as a woman, she possesses the capacity and will to be and do whatever she desires.

“I don’t need anyone to survive. I am a woman and a woman can be or do anything she wants if she wills it. Remember I said that,” Heart replied.
