When would Joem Bascon and Meryll Soriano get married? This was Meryll’s brother Kei Soriano’s question to Joem when Joem appeared on Meryll’s vlog Dear Mama Meme this Sunday, June 19. Joem conducted an interview with Meryll on his YouTube channel for the first time, where they discussed Joem’s experience as a first-time father to their one-year-old son Gido.
When they were completed, Kei entered to ask the final question.
“Ginising ako ni ate for this, ‘no! Ready ka na ba sa question?” he remarked to Joem.
“Kailan daw kayo ikakasal?” Kei asks Joem.
Meryll was spotted smiling yet blushing when she heard the question.
“Oh my God! Ano ba iyan! Huwag iyan!” he said.
Joem responded briefly to the question, “In time, yeah.”
Meryll covered her ears as Joem answered the question, saying, “Ayoko marinig! Gusto ko surprise!”
“Surprise pa rin talaga siya,” Joem responded.
Meryll laughed and remarked to the camera, “Gusto mo yung girl na female ako doon?”
He approached Gido, who was also present during the interview.
“Halika dito, pinapanuod mo ako, ang landi ng mama mo! Tama na, ayoko noon!” Meryll laughed.
Joem continued, “Kapag ano na, okay na ang lahat. At saka isa rin yun, e, kapag plinlano mo, hindi naman nangyayari. Minsan nangyayari na lang. “
When Gido started their set, Joem said, “Di ba, baby boy? Bilhan mo ako singsing, dali!”
Meryll complimented Joem for being a good parent not just to Gido but also to Meryll’s eldest son Eli.
Meryll’s 14-year-old kid with actor and ex-boyfriend Bernard Palanca is Eli. Joem and Meryll originally fell in love in 2018 while working on the teleserye I Love Betty La Fea, but they split up in 2010 when Meryll moved to London to study Industrial Design.
