Vice Ganda, a Kapamilya entertainer and artist, encountered several Filipinos in Singapore, and here’s what he did to them.
He encountered some Filipinos while shopping in Singapore and noted that one of them was afraid to purchase a bag for herself. He thought that the woman might be conserving her money for more essential things, hence her concern about purchasing.
Therefore, after listening and observing the situation, he took initiative to simply purchase it as a gift for her. He didn’t hesitate. He took the bag and even told the other two Filipinos in the store to grab anything they wanted and he would pay.
When questioned why he did it, he explained: “Eh feeling ko gusto niya ‘yung bag kaya binalikan ko siya. Kasi nandoon sila sa may belt bag, tapos pabalik-balik talaga sila roon. Sa atin mabilis lang natin na bibilhin ‘yon. Mura lang pero ‘yung thought na binigyan ko siya ng bag ay maaalala niya lagi, mapapa-happy siya.”
Recently, he surprised the Its Showtime team by announcing that each of them will get Php 5,000.00 from him — from his own personal money. And we recently observed another act of love and giving from the famous comedian in a video he shared.
Kindness may take many forms. It might be how you treat others, how you interact with children, how you treat your family, and many other things. And, according to Vice Ganda, someone who is affluent enough to buy everything he desires in a moment is nice and kind to others by sharing his hard-earned money.
