Joseph Marco, a Kapamilya actor, talked about working with famous Wowowin host Herlene Budol, commonly known as Hipon Girl.

After the latter’s contentious encounter with new actress Ana Jalandoni, Marco took over for actor Kit Thompson in the movie Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask.

Joseph recently told The Philippine Star that he had a great time working with Herlene.

“I really enjoy working with Herlene. Sobrang gaang niyang katrabaho. May mga days na excited akong makita siya, excited akong makausap siya, excited akong makatrabaho siya kasi yung personality niya it gives joy to people around her,” Joseph Marco said.

The actor also mentioned how entertaining Herlene was and how he would really like to collaborate with her again in the future. When asked about the mood on the set of the movie, Joseph stated that their director, Victor Villanueva, did not put extra pressure on them.

“Sobrang chill niyang mag-direct, with shots, scenes, as in ang gaan sa set. Even the crew, parang barkada lahat,”  he remarked.

Chris Cahilig produced this movie, which was conceptualized alongside Puregold.

Malta, a 25-year-old cashier portrayed by Herlene, is the protagonist of Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask. Malta is providing financial assistance to her mother, Madam Baby, who is portrayed by Mickey Ferriols.

Sieg, a handsome guy who is unfortunate in love, is played by Joseph Marcos. When Malta and Sieg met, it was love at first sight for the latter, who was captivated by the former’s eyes.

Malta and Sieg will then go on their own path to conquer their uncertainties and the darkness of their past, and, of course, to discover love.

On June 11, Saturday at 6 p.m., the Puregold YouTube channel will begin streaming this movie.
