In Maitum, Sarangani, police seized 25 boxes of foreign cigarettes on Thursday.

According to Police Regional Office-12 Director Brig. Gen. Alexander Tagum, the contraband was discovered in a car that was later confiscated.

According to Tagum, investigators estimated the confiscated Casablanca cigarettes from Indonesia to be worth P375,000 to P420,000. The confiscated smuggled items are now in the custody and still investigating the situation.
