DOH Recorded 5,223 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in the Philippines as of April 14, 2020

The Department of Health reported 291 new cases on Tuesday, April 14, bringing total cases in the country to 5,223. Deaths due to COVID-19 also went up by 20 for a total of 335 fatalities. A total of 53 new patients recovered from the virus, bringing total recoveries to 295.

In Global tally of COVID-19, 1,920,918 million people infected with (COVID-19), 453,289 have been recovered, and 119,686 death tolls of the Coronavirus.

Coronavirus disease was first recorded in China where it prompted authorities to lock down Wuhan due to its outbreak. In the Philippines, local government units are now decided to enforce an enhanced community quarantine. 

Everyone is advised to stay at home to curb the spread of the disease and some selected people in one family can go out to buy some foods and needs in the house.
