The Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian has welcomed the arrival of the donation at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, together with the Philippine Foreign Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr.

The donation from China came just as the Philippine government to boost its supply of test kits, masks, and protective equipment due to the increasing cases of COVID-19, which first emerged in Wuhan, China in December 2019.
