Jack Ma Donates $14 Million to Help Find a Vaccine of Coronavirus

Jack Ma, Alibaba (BABA) founder, and China’s richest man is donating 100 million yuan ($14.4 million) through his foundation to help find a vaccine for Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV). Jack Ma Foundation stated that the funds will be used to support “prevention and treatment” measures.

Alibaba is one of a host of Chinese technology companies donating funds to coronavirus treatment efforts. The Chinese scientist is now giving their best to find a cure for Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

Recently, the virus has killed at least 132 people, with nearly 6,000 cases confirmed in mainland China. More than 80 cases have been confirmed elsewhere.

The company is also offering free AI computing power to scientific research organizations to support the search for a vaccine or treatment.

China has full confidence and capability to win the battle against the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), said Chinese President Xi Jinping last Tuesday.
