Canada’s prime minister Justin Trudeau blamed Iran for the crash incident of Ukrainian airliner resulting the killing of 176 people aboard, he said during the conference in Ottaw, Ontario, Canada on January 9, 2020.
Report said, prime minister Justin Trudeau statement is based on intelligence report from Canada and other sources.
“We have intelligence from multiple sources, including our allies and our own intelligence. The evidence indicates that the plane was shot down by an Iranian surface-to-air missile,” he said.
The Ukraine International Airlines flight “Boeing 737-800” from Tehran failed to landing to its destination to Kiev due to a crash on Wednesday hours after Iran fired ballistic missiles at 2 US military bases in Iraq, and Iranians were on high alert for a US military response.
Trudeau said, Canada government would never tolerate the incident until justice is serve with transparency closure which incident involved the death of 63 Canadians on board.
The 3 US officials also told reporter that the cause of the plane crush is due to Iranian mistake.
