The singer/actress Aiza Seguerra is now officially engaged to former beauty queen-turned-actress Liza Diño on Friday, February 7, 2014. The report was confirmed by Aiza’s manager Annabelle Ragalado-Borja: “Yes, that’s true,” she told Manila Bulletin Entertainment via SMS.

“I am overjoyed, I still can’t believe it,” she said.

The wedding proposal took place during the rehearsals of “Kung Paano Maghiwalay” at the Teatro Hermogenes Ylagan in UP Diliman.

Diño revealed that Seguerra has set up the whole scenario; she taught that they were just acting together in a fund raising play of “Kung Paano Maghiwalay” but before the end of the rehearsal, Seguerra brought out a diamond-studded sapphire ring.

Diño took her Twitter account to express her happiness and thanks her friends for sharing with them the special moment.

Iamtonico on its Instagram account, a friend of the couple posted several photos during the moment shared his happiness saying “proud and happy” for the newly engaged couple.

He also posted a photo of their family members of Seguerra and Diño who are very supportive to the couple’s relationship.

“Dito ako naiyak when I saw your parents na proud & Happy for both of you… Ano pa ba ang mahihiling mo di ba? Love you.” He said.
