The agent of Australian player Chris Goulding; Daniel Moldovan wants FIBA to ban the Philippines for a year. In his Twitter account, “Let’s call this for what it is. This is assault! Spats and occasionally fights happen in a game, but for a bench to clear and players, support staff, arena employees to start kicking, stomping, throwing chairs – it is ASSAULT! I hope FIBA bans the Filipino federation for a year!”

Hours later and my blood is still boiling. My client did not commit a single act of aggression throughout the entire game and here he is on the bottom of a pile, taking over 20 punches to the head, being stomped on, kicked and held by both players and staff! #BanTheFederation pic.twitter.com/CSJcjhzIVm

Moldovan also had words for Gilas assistant coach Jong Uichico, “Your words are hollow. You didn’t act like a father who cares about his sons. You acted like a classless animal with zero brains. Hand in your resignation, your country deserves better.”
Gilas Pilipinas assistant coach Jong Uichico Twitter posts, “Tonight, my emotions got the better of me like a father who cares about his sons. That does not excuse my actions and I apologize to everyone as in hindsight I should have not gotten involved. This is a painful but maybe necessary lesson for me.”
