A special Mother’s Day episode on May 12, 2018 of Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) features Pokwang portrays as an overseas Filipino mom, who managed to work abroad for her family’s future. When Azon (Pokwang) went to Italy, her daughter, Tet (Empress), and son, Tot (Dino Imperial) living comfortable and can get anything they want.

Tet knows how hard to work in abroad and she motivate herself to work hard in order to get help her mother.

Suddenly, Augusto (Jeric Raval) suffered a stroke, leaving Azon no choice but to go back to the Philippines in order to take care of him.

The cast of this episode are David Chua, Kim Molina, Mikee Agustin,Hyubs Azarcon, and Dang Cruz. It is under the direction of Dado Lumibao and is written by Mary Rose Colindres.
