Avengers: Infinity War Earns P141.6 Million on its Opening Day in Philippines

Facebook page of Bangkok-based production firm Indochina Productions confirms Pinoy moviegoers saw on “Avengers: Infinity War” – the world-famous Banaue Rice Terraces in the Philippines that plays a crucial role in the development of one of the characters in the movie.

“Super Proud of our team who helped on the aerial unit for AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR in The Philippines 🙂 Sorry that they did not put everyone’s name on the end credits, but we know who you are!”

According to spokesperson from Walt Disney Philippines confirmed that the Visual Effects of that scene was done in the Philippines.

“Avengers: Infinity War” earns P141.6 Million (USD 2.7 million) in the Philippines on its opening day, according to Walt Disney Philippines.
