Professional Regulatory Board of Pharmacy administered the licensure examination in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Iloilo, held last March 9 & 10, 2017. The Board of Pharmacy is composed of Ms. Adelina C. Royo (inhibited), Chairman; Dr. Mildred B. Oliveros and Mr. Anthony Aldrin C. Santiago, Members.

The performance of schools in the March 2017 Pharmacist Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) “To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation” is as follows:
Examinees answer the following subjects: PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY (Inorganic Pharmaceutical and Medical Chemistry; Organic Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry; Qualitative Pharmaceutical Chemistry) 20%, PHARMACOGNOSY (Plant Chemistry; Biochemistry) 15%, PRACTICE OF PHARMACY (Compounding-Dispensing; Clinical/Hospital Pharmacy; Pharmaceutical Calculations) 17.5%, PHARMACOLOGY-PHARMACOKINETICS (Toxicology; Incompatibilities and Adverse Drug Reactions) 15%, PHARMACEUTICS (Manufacturing Pharmacy; Pharmaceutical Dosage Forms; Physical Pharmacy; Jurisprudence & Ethics) 17.5%, and QUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY CONTROL (Drug Testing with Instrumentation, Microbiology and Public Health) 15%.
