The trending phrase “Pak Ganern” surfaced online and became viral in micro-blogging sites and social media since the time this catchphrase was popularize by TV host comedian Vice Ganda early this month of August 2016.

According to a Filipino Anthropologist and Professor Felipe Jocano Jr. from the University of the Philippines-Diliman, the phrase “Pak Ganern” is believed a polysemous expression of a comedian or TV host like Vice Ganda who used to invent terminologies to express feelings to describe emotions normally for funny reason just like a filler expressions the comedian used before such as; char, chos, charot, chever, et cetera.

Jocano explained that the word “pak” is best interpreted in the Filipino term “tumpak,” in English means “a boom” while the word “ganern” is simply mean “ganoon” which means in English “like that or that’s it,.”

Combining the two words gives something a big empact “Pak Ganern” is sounds like a big boom which can be ascribed to a different meaning depending to the one using it. This term also is believed multi-purpose in nature.

On the other hand, some other ideas scattered online believing that the meaning of “Pak Ganern” is allegedly something evil.

According to the social media the phrase “Pak Ganern” is derived from the Latin words “Paccrassius” which means, “be with me Satan” and Ganern – “Ganri” means “Eternal.” Thus, in every time someone speaks this phrase “Pak Ganern” this means that you’re inviting Satan to be with you eternally.

Although there is no evidence of the fact regarding the foreign origin of this doubtful viral phrase “Pak Ganern,” as per advice from the spiritual aspect is safer to take than to risk if ever this Latin claim is true.

Like other blog writers, I tried searching online hoping to get helpful meaning of the phrase “Pak Ganern” but there was no evidence of its existence to prove such a word. So I come to a couple of spiritual people whom I believed I can get spiritual explanation from them.
