Councilor of Quezon City Fourth District Hero Bautista volunteer for drug rehabilitation.

In his privilege speech in Quezon City last Monday, August 15, 2016 in front of his colleagues he announces and bid goodbye saying he is signing off and was also a victim of drug menace and it will take him a month or weeks on his journey.

He also added, he will be stronger, more mature, and ready for policies to address the victims of drug menace and their families and be back fighting against drugs.

He is volunteering himself to embark on a journey of soul-searching and self-discovery.  He wants also to protect his brother Mayor Herbert Bautista from the social media by putting an end to the issue because his brother is a mayor and was never a drug protector.  He said he is only protecting his brother.

On DZMM Teleradyo article on Twitter, the actor-politician added he will take the moral high ground to protect himself or his name and the institution that he is now representing.

Hero Bautista also gets full support from his sister Harlene from the drug problems he is facing now.

Just this weekend, Hero was allegedly tested positive for drug use.
