“Mira Bella” is the newest series of Enrique Gil in which many of the actor’s fans are bashing right after the announcement that Enrique Gil will be working together with the opposite actress, Julia Barreto in the film.
In the previous drama series of the actor “Muling Buksan ang Puso” Enrique Gil’s leading lady was Julia Montes. Fans have appreciated so much to give the full support to the team-up of the casts.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Monday, Gil urged his fans as well as supporters of his former leading lady Julia Montes to accept Julia Barretto as his leading lady to the new series, “Mira Bella.”
The actor explained that the new setup was purely a management decision and they need the full support from their fans.
“Sa concert day ko mismo, doon ko in-announce na gagawin ko ‘yung ‘Mira Bella.’ Doon nagwala ‘yung mga fans. Wala tayong magagawa kasi decision ng management. We can’t please all the fans naman. Trabaho naman ito,” explained the actor.
With his new movie series, Gil is expecting from their fans to continue support his new project even if he will not be working with Montes for the meantime.
“Sa mga fans namin ni Julia (Montes), kung puwede suportahan ako sa show ko, tapos si Julia sa show niya. Tapos if ever in the future, why not? For sure magkakatrabaho kami ulit sa future,” he said.
During the interview, Gil admitted that he was affected after learning the adverse reaction from some of his fans.
He said, nobody wanted the conflict, we want everybody to enjoy, and you know that I don’t like my fans to be disappointed, the actor said.
When the actress, Julia Barretto learned about this, she said, “We don’t mind that matter, it’s just okay. That’s natural reaction from the fans who give their full support and besides, they don’t understand what is happening in the showbiz”, she said.
Okay lang sanay na ako dyan, added the actress.
Gil is looking forward that “Mira Bella” would be a hit since this is his first cast with Julia Barretto.
Aside from Enrique Gil and Julia Barretto in the cast, “Mira Bella” will also feature Sam Concepcion.
