“It’s Showtime” Hashtag Dancer – Ronnie Alonte features his own story this coming Saturday, March 19, 2016 on Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK). Ronnie is from a wealthy family in Laguna. Ronnie’s father (Nonie Buencamino) had an accident that causes for a loss of vision in one eye, it stopped working and cause poverty in their family.

It soon became delinquent of Ronnie studies because he chose to just play basketball. When he failed in his studies, he started to blame all the changes to his parents.

When overwhelmed with school, he started to blame all the changes in their family to his parents.

But given a second opportunity, Ronnie got a 100% varsity scholarship to a school to play basketball. Not only is he good at it, but the star player on their varsity team.

And before graduating, he won a school pageant, then dive to the delegates commercials on TV, until discovered by ABS-CBN.

Also included in the upcoming “MMK” are Ara Mina, Angelo Ilagan, Ysabel Ortega, CJ Navato, and Joshua Dionisio. The episode was directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng and written by Jimuel Dela Cruz. “MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos.
