The Filipino-American contestant Ellona Santiago has made the X Factor USA judges to say “Wow!” during her performance on Thursday Philippine time in her preferred renditions from the hits of Lady Gaga and Beyonce.

The X Factor judges wowed to the performance of the 17-year-old Fil-Am singer as she performs Beyonce’s hit.

Judge Paulina Rubio said “I’m watching a super star; I just feel that you have everything it gets to be the X Factor.”

The next judge says, “This is what we’ve been waiting for from you for a long time… I have got to tell you, that was incredible!” said judge Simon Cowell.

Demi Lovato, Santiago’s mentor who gives her inspiration said, “I could be more proud of you… I think you have the ability to take this competition,” said the Disney star.

With Santiago’s extraordinary performance, Lovato believes that America will cast their vote in favor to Santiago because she deserves it.

Santiago said to ABS-CBN News earlier that she is praying to win the competition so that she can give her parents a better life and repay the sacrifices given for her and siblings.

Like many other Filipino that joined the competition, Santiago is now appealing to the Filipino community in the United State to continue supports her.

“Tulungan n’yo po akong matupad ang aking pangarap. Please vote for me,” the young singer said at the time.

Voting results will be announced during the episode of the X Factor USA on December 5 (December 6, in the Philippines).

On the stage with Santiago to perform for the semifinals were Rion Paige, Restless Road, Jeff Gutt, Alex & Sierra and Carlito Olivero.
