Following her split with actor Harvey Bautista, Kapamilya dancer and actress AC Bonifacio has declared herself single.

AC discussed some of her life’s highs and lows, as well as the lessons she learned from them, in an open discussion with Edward Barber on the Painfully Human Podcast on March 20.

As the conversation progressed, AC discussed the part Edward played in her life at a trying period. Over time, what started out as a professional relationship evolved into a trusted friendship, and the actor became someone she could confide in, particularly while she was experiencing heartbreak.

Edward recalled about what he called his first “kuya moment” with AC, when she came to him for guidance over a specific man they did not identify.

Since then, according to AC, she has always turned to Edward for emotional support. “Since then, I’ve gone to you with every other guy,” AC insisted.

According to AC, there was a time when she decided to go a year without dating. She laughed as she said, “I was like, ‘I don’t trust any man,’ because I came from a very traumatizing relationship.”

AC discreetly disclosed her present relationship status during this conversation. Returning to the moment when she was asked if she had ever been single, she added, “Also…now,” laughing with Edward.

Without mentioning Harvey, she asked, “Is there a time when you are not dating? Hmm…now?”

Edward expressed his support and respect for AC’s handling of the crisis, but he did so cautiously.

Edward talked about how AC reached out to him at the height of that passionate exchange.

Because he witnessed AC’s development, Edward found the moment particularly memorable.

Both made it clear that Edward’s only responsibility was to listen, letting AC make her own decisions. In response, AC conveyed her gratitude for his candor and presence.

Eventually, the two agreed to put the conversation on hold, implying that they would talk more later.

During AC’s time in the Pinoy Big Brother house in April of last year, when she was subjected to harsh internet criticism, both AC and Harvey made headlines. Harvey publicly defended her and called attention to the severity of the backlash at the time, when she was the target of accusations and even death threats. At that time, AC also revealed that Harvey was the first person she got in touch with following her eviction.

AC hasn’t yet revealed any more information regarding their breakup.

The young celebrity continues to succeed in life despite going through personal difficulties. AC recently disclosed that the international K-Pop sensation Jungkook was following her on TikTok.

On his personal TikTok account, which currently has over 25.6 million followers, Jungkook follows 63 profiles, including her.
