As they recently left the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 house, Kapamilya actress Eliza Borromeo and Kapuso actress Sofia Pablo reflected on their life-changing experience.
Eliza posted on Instagram about how going back to the famous yellow house was a powerful reminder of her true self.
Eliza continued by saying that she learned from the experience how important it is to remain true to oneself even when one is unsure.
“This experience reminded me how important it is to stay true to yourself, kahit na minsan hindi ka na sigurado sa lahat. I learned to listen more, to feel deeply, and to show up kahit hindi palaging madali.”
She also thanked everyone who helped her overcome the obstacles both within and outside the house.
She added, “To everyone who chose to understand me, to stand up for me, and to protect me when things got loud — thank you. Nakikita at nababasa ko lahat. Your love meant more than you’ll ever know. I felt seen, supported, and I never felt alone. I’ll keep on learning and growing, hindi lang para sa sarili ko, but for all of you who believed in me and stayed.”
Eliza continued by expressing gratitude to her loved ones, ABS-CBN, GMA, Pinoy Big Brother, and the production team for giving her another chance.
Months after her first departure in November, Eliza returned last month as one of two wildcard residents. She was a member of the Solid Six group, which lost to Striving Feathers in each of the three LigTask challenges. Eliza, along with other Kapamilya housemates Joaquin Arce and Carmelle Collado, finished last with 20.97% following a week of public voting.
Sofia Pablo, meantime, discussed her 99-day experience inside the PBB house and said that she had one specific objective going into the game.
The young actress admitted that she was first apprehensive about participating in the Kapamilya reality show, but she made the decision to confront her anxieties.
Competing against Caprice Cayetano and Heath Jornales, two other Kapuso housemates, Sofia, who was also a member of the Solid Six, received 8.46% of the vote.
