(2ND UPDATE) BTS’s company said late on Tuesday that the K-pop supergroup will make its first trip to the Philippines in ten years when they return there for their next world tour in 2027.

The tour’s cities and dates, including a visit in Manila on March 13 and 14, were revealed by BigHit Music on its X account.

Live Nation Philippines stated that the precise location and ticketing information will be revealed at a later time in a separate X post.

In April, the tour will begin with a three-day performance in Goyang, South Korea, and then proceed to other locations in Asia, Europe, North and South America, and Australia.

BigHit stated that further stops, such as performances in Japan and the Middle East, will be revealed later.

The group’s fifth studio album, which is scheduled for release on March 20, will be supported by the tour.

During their “Wings” tour in 2017, the seven members of the “Butter” hitmakers last performed live in the Philippines. However, as part of his “Hope On The Stage” tour, member J-Hope made a comeback in April 2025 with a two-day solo performance.

The “Love Yourself” tour, BTS’s most recent tour, took place in 2019. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of their 2020 “Map of the Soul” tour. They then resumed live performances in 2021 and 2022 with the “Permission to Dance On Stage” concert series before taking a hiatus.

After a hiatus from group activities due to the members’ mandated military service in South Korea, the next album will be BTS’s first in almost four years.

BTS has become the most streamed group on Spotify and the first K-pop act to top both the Billboard 200 and Billboard Artist 100 charts since their 2013 debut.

The septet has gained widespread recognition as youth icons outside of music, giving talks at the UN and interacting with former U.S. President Joe Biden addresses hate crimes against Asians at the White House.
