This message of kindness and giving without asking for anything in return fits perfectly this Christmas season, as experienced once again by actress Ivana Alawi.
Alawi shared a special project in which she feigned pregnancy in her most recent vlog. Her purpose is to see people’s genuine hearts and reward those with good intentions.
“Being a mom is very special. Paano tinatrato ‘yung mga buntis. Gusto ko lang makita kung paano tinatrato yung mga buntis. Gusto ko lang makita kung sino ang may magagandang puso,” Alawi said at the beginning of his vlog.
Alawi proved in the vlog that many people are still willing to help, especially pregnant women.
Si “Kuya Hesus”
When Alawi met Kuya Hesus, a homeless man who gave him P10 after seeing him begging for food on the street, he experienced the goodness and open-hearted giving that characterize the spirit of Christmas.
Even though he had nothing in life, Kuya Hesus did not hesitate to offer money so that Alawi may buy soup.
The actress felt and saw the goodness of Kuya Hesus’s heart during their talk, who had the belief that God hears prayers and watches everything that occurs.
Due to the kindness, Alawi went back to Kuya Hesus with his basic needs, including clothes, food, and shoes.
Alawi also promised to aid Kuya Hesus as much as he could, saying that he would treat him. And when Kuya Hesus’ condition improves, he will also offer P100,000 for his start.
Alawi also called on Kuya Hesus’ relatives to cooperate with him.
“Grabe. Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng ganyang tao. Ngayon lang ako naka-experience ng ganito. At sana sa ibang tao, ma-inspire kayong tumulong, kahit pakonti-konti. ‘Yung ibang nagnanakaw ng bilyon-bilyon pero hindi mo makikitaan ng ganito. Samantalang si Kuya Hesus wala naman siyang bilyon, wala siyang milyon pero tumutulong pa rin siya. Ganyan ang Pinoy,” Alawi concluded.
