Philippine Arena is packed with Filipino BLINKS for BLACKPINK’s sold-out DEADLINE show

The K-pop girl group BLACKPINK came to the Philippines for their two-day DEADLINE World Tour last weekend, November 22 and 23, Filipino BLINKS proved to be among the most passionate and unforgettable crowds.

The BLINKS, dressed in BLACKPINK-inspired attire and armed with their hammerbongs—BLACKPINK’s official lightstick—were a sea of pink that filled the Philippine Arena as they screamed with joy for the group. Powerful renditions of favorites like “Kill This Love” and “Pink Venom” kicked off the program, which was followed by member welcomes.

“Welcome to the 2025 BLACKPINK DEADLINE World Tour here in the Philippines. How has everybody been doing Philippines, are you ready?” Rosé mentioned.

During Act 1 of their act, the girls’ songs “How You Like That,” “PLAYING WITH FIRE,” and “Shutdown” kept the audience upbeat.

Members Jisoo and Lisa gave amazing performances of their songs as solo performers in the second section. Fans were enthralled by Jisoo’s captivating songs “Earthquake” and “Hugs & Kisses” as well as her gorgeous graphics.

As the group’s main dancer, Lisa took the show with songs like “Thunder,” “When I’m With You,” and “Rockstar.”

With songs like “Pretty Savage” and “Don’t Know What To Do,” the group then made a comeback for Act 3, when the girls expressed their love for their Filipino fans.

“Oh my god! It’s lovely to be back. “We are so excited to be here tonight,” Rosé remarked. “For our next song, I need you Filipinos with your beautiful voices to sing-along with ‘Don’t Know What To Do’ because we don’t know what to do without you in the Philippines.”

“I miss the Philippines so much. Good food, good mangoes,” Lisa remarked, mentioning that she had eaten her favorite fruit when she got to their show. “We are just so excited to be back in the Philippines.”

Additionally, the girls charmingly displayed the Filipino expression they had learnt for their admirers, saying: “Mahal ko kayo talaga! The best kayo. Philippines, the best kayo!”

Lisa commented with pride that their pronunciation of Filipino words sounded natural: “Wait! We sound professional. We sound native. We did!”

“Philippines, it’s been such a long time and we miss you so much and time flies already. It’s already been two years but we are back already and we just love that each and every one of you are here today.” Rosé continued.

“Whistle,” “STAY,” and “Lovesick Girls,” the debut smashes, maintained the performance.

As the venue filled with red lights, members Rosé and Jennie took the stage alone for the following show. The audience danced to Jennie’s debut appearance, “like JENNIE,” which was followed by “ExtraL” and “Starlight.”

Before performing “number one girl,” Rosé pleased the audience by showcasing turon, a popular Filipino food, during her offstage interlude.

“I am super really, extremely, amazingly excited to come here and to perform for you guys. Now we are back in the Philippines and I must say that sometimes I personally forget what it is that I don’t like and some days that feel like one thing and today I kind of feel that way,” she said.

She dedicated the song to their fans, saying, “As we were coming out and heard you guys cheering for us, it reminded me that you guys made me believe I’m BLACKPINK. I promised you before we go up I don’t feel very special, I don’t know, but then I feel like I’m BLACKPINK right now with your screams, your cheers and presence made me feel like possibly, quite possibly, your number one girl.”

But in the middle, Rosé said she wasn’t feeling well and asked to perform again. After that, she asked her followers to join her in singing the song.

She took a lucky fan onstage to join her in singing “toxic till the end” and her hit song “APT,” which she sang with Filipino-American Bruno Mars.

Act 5 saw BLACKPINK make a comeback with their newest hit, “JUMP,” which literally made the audience jump. “BOOMBAYAH,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” “As If It’s Your Last,” and “Forever Young” came next.

During their ment segment, Rosé said that she was feeling under the weather and was concerned about her performance on the first day.

Additionally, fans participated in a dancing challenge. A number of celebrities were seen dancing along, including Pauleen Luna and her daughter Tali, Stacey and Aiah from BINI, and Charlie Fleming and Rain Celmar from Pinoy Big Brother.

“JUMP,” “Really,” and “See U Later” marked the end of the evening, leaving fans thrilled and determined to come back.
