In its official statement, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) reports that 3,878 out of 6,833 candidates successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Social Workers, administered by the Board for Social Workers across various testing centers, including N. C. R., Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Kidapawan, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga, during the September 2023 examination period.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Social Workers administered the board exam across multiple locations, including Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Kidapawan, and Palawan on September 18, 19, and 20, 2023.
TOP PERFORMING AND PERFORMANCE OF SCHOOLS
The panel responsible for administering the licensure examination consisted of the following members of the Board for Social Workers: Lorna C. Gabad (Chairman), Rosetta G. Palma, Fe J. Sinsona, and Ely B. Acosta (Members).
The date and venue for the mass oathtaking of the successful examinees in the said licensure examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
The three-day examination encompassed the following subjects:
- Day 1: Human Behavior and Social Environment, and Social Welfare Policies, Programs, and Services
- Day 2: Social Work Practice I with Field Instruction I and Social Work Practice II with Field Instruction II
- Day 3: Social Work Practice III with Field Instruction III
