In response to Vice President Sara Duterte’s recent statement against her, Senate Deputy Minority Leader Risa Hontiveros stated on Thursday, September 14, that she was not seeking for Duterte’s respect but accountability.
“I’m not asking for your respect, VP Sara; I’m asking for accountability, so just account for the confidential funds that you’re requesting,” Hontiveros continued.
If Duterte is unable to respect others who are government officials, she ought to recognize how public funds are meant to be used, according to the opposition senator.
