Vice Ganda, host of It’s Showtime, allegedly  three shade at TV5 following its move to GMA Network.

The Unkabogable comedian’s comment has caused controversy online, with netizens thinking that it was a hit at the TV5 network. People on the internet noticed his joke during the transition from TV5 to GMA Network in the “Rampanalo” segment of the noontime show “It’s Showtime” on Friday, June 23.

The contestant was requested to pick a number from a list of ten held by the hosts in the previous portion, and vice and co-host Tyang Amy Perez also asked the audience what number they wanted.

Vice then started to make a number-related joke. He remarked that he liked the number ‘7’, the GMA Network channel, above the number ‘5’, the TV5.

“Dahil magkakaiba, ako na ang pipili. Seven ang number natin,” Vice explained afterwards.

The participant followed Vice’s advice and picked number 7, but he had to think again. “Ang magandang ka-partner ng 7 ay number 2,” the host joked, referring to Channel 7 and 2.
