Ice Seguerra claimed that he turned down an invitation to appear as a guest on Kapamilya’s It’s Showtime, and here’s why.

Ice is one on show’s current and former hosts that responded to TVJ’s decision to depart TAPE Inc.

Ice Seguerra stated his loyalty to TVJ in a recent interview on veteran entertainment writer Aster Amoyo’s YouTube channel. This is why he isn’t appearing on shows that air at the same time as the trio’s show.

Aster questioned Ice whether he would accept the invitation to appear on GMA’s current Eat Bulaga show. The singer stated that he would refuse the invitation. “Hindi ko tatablahin ang TVJ,” he explained, adding that this same to other noontime shows as well.

Ice revealed that he has many friends on the Kapamilya noontime show, but he consistently declines invitations to appear on It’s Showtime.

“I’m friends with Showtime people, and when they would ask me, ‘Can you guest here?’ I would always say, ‘Pasensya na po,’” he explained. According to the singer, it is even written into his contracts that he would not perform on other noontime shows.
