Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon issued an important statement on the longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga, on May 31, 2023.

After all of the discussions and agreements, TVJ announced its next step on Wednesday. The viewers of the noontime broadcast were confused as to why repeats of previous episodes were played.

The Dabarkads were then seen just before 1 PM, and they were at the studio. Tito Sotto was the first to speak. He stated that they came to the studio to work but were not permitted to broadcast live by TAPE.

Tito then expressed his appreciation to all the Dabarkads who had accompanied them on their show. He also acknowledged Mr. Tony Tuviera, the former TAPE CEO, for his collaboration with Eat Bulaga.

Vic stated that they do not wish to comment on their current feelings since they simply wish to work together quietly, with respect and equality.

 “Simula ngayong araw, May 31, 2023, kami po ay magpapaalam na sa TAPE Incorporated,” he said.

“Maraming-maraming salamat sa inyong lahat. Hanggang sa muli. Saan man kami dalhin ng tadhana, tuloy ang isang libo’t isang tuwa,” Vic remarked.
