The actress-politician’s statement about her finances with her husband, House of Representatives Deputy Speaker Ralph Recto, garnered amusement from the audience.

Vilma Santos recently featured as a guest on the Valentine’s Day special episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, one of GMA-7’s newest programs. She was questioned how she likes herself as a wife, mother, and actress, among other things.

She provided an example,  a ccording to Vilma Santos, when it comes to finances in her relationship with House of Representatives Deputy Speaker Ralph Recto, her husband is in charge of paying her allowance for household maintenance while she is in charge of marketing. Even though she is “financially comfortable,” she emphasised that it is their arrangement.

“Basta I make sure na ‘yung akin ay nasa akin, at ‘yung sa kanya ay nasa akin,” the actress-politician said, drawing laughter from the audience.
