As an audience at the Miss Universe 2022 competition yesterday in New Orleans, Louisiana, MJ Lastimosa recently sent out a tweet that quickly went viral.
MJ tweeted, “Balik pala ko ulit sayang ticket,” shortly after Celeste Cortesi was unable to advance to the semifinals of the famous competition.
Although many online users appeared to criticize MJ’s remark, the beauty queen responded with another tweet that offered some explanations.
“Sobrang walang comprehension ng mga tao here huhu. Pano ko po iiwan si Celeste anjan po sya sa backstage till the pageant ends. Wala po pwedeng umalis. And di rin po ako pwede sa backstage, anong gagawin ko? Juskwa kayo! Ayan zinozoom in ko pa sya,” MJ stated in a post.
In the meanwhile, MJ sent a heartwarming message for Celeste on her Instagram page.
One internet user, however, questioned MJ’s “sayang ticket” tweet in a comment.
The comment from the netizen says, “Navash kna po sa page Ng Abs xbn. May caption ka Sayang ticket mo, bat Naman po ganun? Mabasa po ni celestine un mahurt sya.”
“Mas mahurt sya na hindi nyo yun naintindihan sizt,” MJ responded.
