Lea Salonga and singer Sarah Geronimo are no longer coaches on “The Voice Philippines,” but Bamboo is still there.

“The Voice,” a singing competition that airs on ABS-CBN in the Philippines, has already given birth to a number of professional singers. Additionally, in the Philippines, fans have always flocked to see Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo, rock legend Bamboo Maalac, Broadway diva Lea Salonga, megastar Sharon Cuneta, and international superstar Apl.de.ap as coaches on the show.

On June 15, 2013, the first season premiered, and Mitoy Yunting and Jason Dy were the grand champions. There were also a few versions of it for children and teenagers.

The battles, knockouts, and live shows would all be used in this game show before the judges could select the members of their team.

Additionally, the program has received numerous honors, including Best Reality/Talent Show at the 13th Gawad Tanglaw, Students’ Choice of Reality/Game Show at the 10th USTv Students’ Choice Awards, and Top Reality Talk/Talent Search/Game Show at the 45th GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards.

But a new group of coaches was just revealed in a press release. The news that coaches Sarah and Lea would no longer be on the jury caused sadness among many.

Martin Nievera and KZ Tandingan take the place of Bamboo. One of the original hosts, Bamboo, received a trophy in 2015 for Elha Nympha’s triumph.
