After 31 years on the air, “MMK” has made nearly 150 complete episodes available on YouTube for free viewing.
“Balikan ang hindi malilimutang mga kwento sa nakalipas na tatlong dekada,” the ABS-CBN show remarked in announcing the playlist.
So far, the compilation includes 152 episodes that have been posted in full in recent years, including both new and classic titles.
Aside from a few YouTube uploads, “MMK” episodes are still avaliable for free on iWantTFC.
“MMK,” Asia’s longest-running drama anthology, will finish on December 20 with a three-part episode finale.
The ABS-CBN program, originally titled “Maalaala Mo Kaya,” debuted in May 1991, dramatizing real-life stories given by letter senders. The title’s success led to it being adapted into a radio play, a 1994 film, and a comic book adaptation, among other things, with its regular weekend run (and the guessing game of its episode names) leaving an unforgettable mark on pop culture.
Charo Santos-Concio, the screen veteran and entertainment foundation whose decades-long job as “MMK’s” presenter made her a household name, announced her retirement early this week.
