In the first season of “Drag Den Philippines,” eight contestants will compete for the title.
The queens were introduced as part of the judges’ panel in a trailer released Thursday, along with Miss Grand International 2016 1st Runner-Up Nicole Cordoves and TikTok star Sassa Gurl.
The following queens are vying for the throne:
- O-A
- Maria Cristina
- Aries Night
- Barbie-Q
- Shewarma
- Pura Luka Vega
- Naia
- Lady Gagita
“Drag Den Philippines” will be available on Prime Video on December 8th.
The show was announced in July 2021 as the “first-ever drag reality show” in the country, and auditions for aspiring queens began in August.
However, Precious Paula Nicole won the first season of “Drag Race Philippines,” the local version of the wildly popular “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
In 2011, Manila Luzon made their international debut on “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” They then appeared in two “All Stars” editions of the show, the first in 2012 and the second in 2018.
