Doll House, starring Baron Geisler and Althea Ruedas, debuted as the top movie title on Netflix Philippines just a few days after its release.

Mavx Productions resorted to social media to thank the Filipino fans for their support of their heartfelt film. Marla Ancheta, the director of Doll House, announced the good news on Facebook, stating that her film has also achieved Netflix’s top 10 list in Bahrain, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.

Apparently, Paolo viewed Baron’s Netflix film, which is still ranked first in the Top 10 Movies on Netflix Philippines. Baron shared Paolo’s message and his response.

Paolo and Baron’s friendship began on the set of the Kapamilya weekend series Tabing Ilog (1999-2003). Jodi Sta., John Lloyd Cruz Maria, Kaye Abad, Desiree del Valle, Patrick Garcia, and Paula Peralejo are among the cast members.

I instantly thought of Paolo Contis after watching Doll House. “Bagay rin sa iyo ang pelikulang yun, at baka maka-relate ka pa sa kuwento!” I said, and Paolo simply chuckled.

It was No. 1 at the time. There are just two more Doll Houses available. So I informed Paolo that I believe he is still the “Netflix King,” and his film quickly rose to the top of the charts. Going via low slots is no longer an option.

Paolo is believed to be quite pleased with Baron since, despite the fact that he is the producer, Baron is the best match for the part.

In our conversation with Baron, he stated that he wanted to appear in a movie with his “kapatid” in Tabing Ilog. The producer has an idea for a nice project for them.
