Lars Pacheco, Miss Q&A 2018’s second runner-up, underwent successful séx transition surgery in Thailand. He was able to walk and practically resume his usual activities within a few days following the procedure. Lars discussed why he selected sex reassignment surgery (SRS) to become a whole woman on a Facebook live on August 19, 2022, with the headline “Ang mahal magpa-keps (PRICE REVEAL).”

It was also his 22nd day following surgery. He claims that his LGBTQ brothers and sisters mock him about how much he spent on the entire process. “Ang dami kasi nagtatanong kung magkano daw yung nagastos ko sa Kamol hospital,” he remarked.

The only facility in the world that conducts séx reassignment surgery is Thailand’s Kamol Cosmetic Hospital. Lars went on to say that he selected pénile peritoneal v@ginoplasty, or PPV, for SRS. “Kaya ko siya napiling technique is because unang-una sa lahat, ito yung pinaka-major surgery na gagawin ko sa buhay ko, so gusto ko siya na maging pinakabongga, pinaka-expensive,” he stated.

““Gusto ko yung maganda so yun yung treat ko sa sarili ko kasi, di ba, ito yung once in a lifetime lang na gagawin sa buhay natin kaya naman kailangang pag-ipunan talaga.”

He said he likes the outcome of PPV because it is so close to real women, where the vagina is “self-lubricating.”

He said, “the depth of her vagina is 15 centimeters or séx inches” and does not smell, unlike other techniques that smell.

Lars also said that the surgery cost him almost one million pesos. In the hospital’s first invoice to him in April, it was said to be 577,500 Thai baht or about P900,911.40.

The total cost is said to include accommodation at the K Garden Hotel. After the operation, what he saw on the invoice was “622,700 Thai baht (all in all) so halos nasa P900K ang inabot ng SRS” or exactly P971K.
