Many wonder and comments why she did not received standing ovation from the four judges on her performance during the “Live Show 10” of ‘The X Factor’ Australia on Sunday, October 12, 2014.
Marlisa Punzalan sang “Impossible” by the X Factor UK winner James Arthur, which performance I think convinced the judges that she deserves a slot in the Grand Finals.
Competing the prestigious singing competition on The X Factor Australia, the 14-year-old Filipina is making her name all over the world by her powerful performances up on stage as she is considered one of the best performers on the show advancing to the slot of the Top 4 finalists. The second song she sang “Impossible” has impressed the four judges as well as studio audiences, television viewers and the netizens.
Comments from the judges inspire the youngest performer of The X Factor Australia as we heard them says: “For a 14-year old, what you’re doing up there is impossible. That was spectacular. You looked great,” says Redfoo.
“I loved what you do. For 14 that was fantastic,” says Dannii.
“A lot of people do question whether a 15-year-old, can they be on the show like X Factor. One thing I can say is you getting up here, getting constructive criticism like Dannii said, which we all do and you all get each and every week, you handle yourself so incredibly well. I am super proud of that even though I am not your mentor. I think that’s something to be recognized. And you looked awesome. Well done,” says Bassingthwaighte.
“You found this one a little tricky during rehearsals. You struggled a few times. You nailed it this time. I was really nervous. This is your last shot. This is the last song Australia could ever see you sing on the show. I hope they pick up the phone and vote. You deserve a slot in the Grand Finals. You are incredible and that performance was impossible so congratulations,” says Ronan.
