Trimming down from Top 5 finalists of “The X-Factor Australia,” Caitlyn Shadbolt loses her chances of coming up to the Top 4 finalists.

From the week-9 performances where each contestants were required to sing 2 songs. On Monday, October 6, 2014 during the ‘Live Decider’ episode, result was announced and the declaration of the remaining Top 4 finalists.

Caitlyn Shadbolt, is the latest eliminated contestant of the country’s most popular television reality music competition, “The X-Factor Australia.”

The two contestants who received the lowest votes from the home viewers includes Caitlyn Shadbolt and Dean Ray. The last song performed by Caitlyn Shadbolt, the country’s very own contestant was the song popularized by The Band Perry “If I Die Tonight” while Dean Ray performed Johnny Cash / Nine Inch Nails hit song “Hurt.”

During the final decision of judges, Ronan gave his vote to Caitlyn trying to save the 19-year-old contestant and send out Dean Ray. RedFoo cast his vote to send out Caitlyn and save Dean Ray. Nat vote for Dean Ray and send out Caitlyn Shadbolt and Dannii gave votes to Dean Ray and send out Caitlyn resulting to the eviction of Caitlyn Shadbolt from the competition.

The Top 4 finalists are revealed during the ‘Live Decider 9’ episode, these includes the youngest Filipina contestant Marlisa Punzalan who was named first as safe contestant and now in one step ahead of winning the much-awaited title, then, Brothers 3, Reigan Derry and Dean Ray who was one among the bottom 2 contestants.
