The motive of the crime is sibling jealousy which is believed to be a deeper reason.

According to one of the siblings the suspect is considered to be a black sheep of the family wherein he does many events that give headaches to his parents. She added her parents are doing their best to treat him well.

Another revelation is that the group of suspects plan ahead to rob the couple.

John Arjay the primary suspect stated that he is only a look out but it seems his statement is questionable because the motive is robbery and he probably knows the location of the money and other valuable things of the slained couple.
