The video clip was shared on social media by a supporter who said Lea was disrespectful to them after the performance Here Lies Love when they wanted for a photo.
In the 2-minute video, the Broadway Diva, visibly annoyed at being ambushed, says she has no idea who these people are and that they are unable to enter backstage provided they are on the guest list.
Another supporter stated, claiming to know the show’s co-producer, former actress G. Tongi.
Nonetheless, Lea insisted on making their way outside by the door, explaining that they wanted persons on the list “for security purposes.”
Lea then directed the other supporters to the exit door before granting with their request for a photo.
The video rapidly went viral online and created an online discussion among netizens.
