Ricci Rivero, who split up with Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes, was unconcerned about the uproar and thrown off the qualities of his ideal girl. 

In an interview with former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno on his YouTube channel, the collegiate basketball star stated that he has simple choices and is seeking for someone.

“Pero ano ‘yung hinahanap mo sa babae (What are you looking for in a girl)? Just for the sake of conversation. Anong tipong babae [gusto mo] (What kind of girl you’re looking for)?” Isko Moreno asked Ricci.

“Mature,” Rivero said immediately.  “Simple, family-oriented, and may takot sa Diyos (faithful to God).”

When questioned regarding his most important lessons from previous relationships, he stated that when he was honest to himself, he could never go wrong.

He stated that he dislikes “flexing” because he want to maintain certain parts of himself private. He had no regrets regarding his unsuccessful relationship with Brillantes.
