The Kapuso star has warned the public to be cautious of scámmers who use his identity.

Jak wrote on Instagram Stories, warning his fans to be mindful scámmers who appear to be offering a “celebrity video greeting service” in return of a fee.

The actor gave the warning on Instagram Stories, where he also shared a screenshot of the scám, who was using his name to do the unpleasant action. He even exposed the scammer’s strategy.

According to him, scámmers would obtain the phone number of actor while pretending to have received the number from other artists, and then scámmers would seek a video greeting at events as a “raket.”

“Paalala lang po: Wag po kayo basta basta magbibigay ng down payment sa mga scammer na gumagamit ng video greeting ng celebrity!” Alden stated. “Sa nasendan po ng video greeting namin pls do not entertain po!”
